Santhinilayam school for the mentally challenged was established in 1991 for providing education, training and rehabilitation of children with mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy and multi disabilities. Mental retardation is a complex phenomenon that may affect the social, behavioral, intellectual, physical and emotional development of a child. By giving proper training and quality services of these children , we can improve their performance in daily living skills and to improve quality of life in any situation.
